Don't worry — this is usually easy to fix. Follow the steps below to get your code.
Quick tip: Most issues are solved by checking your phone number format and waiting 60 seconds before requesting a new code.
Make sure you entered the correct phone number with the right country code. A small typo can prevent the code from arriving.
Include your country code (e.g. +1 for US, +44 for UK, +234 for Nigeria)
Remove any leading zeros after the country code
Make sure you have no extra spaces or dashes
SMS delivery depends on your country and mobile carrier. Some regions have restrictions that can block verification codes.
Known limitations: Some countries or carriers may block short-code SMS or have delayed delivery. This is outside our control.
Unsupported countries
We are currently unable to send verification codes to phone numbers in the following countries:
If your country is on this list, please try using a phone number from a supported country or contact us for assistance.
Sometimes the issue is on your phone's side. Here are a few things to check:
Make sure you have cellular signal (Wi-Fi alone won't receive SMS)
Check your SMS inbox isn't full — delete some old messages if needed
Check if your phone has an SMS spam filter that might be blocking the code
Try restarting your phone — this can refresh your network connection
If the code still isn't arriving, it may be an issue specific to your number or carrier. Try registering with a different phone number instead.
Use a number from a major mobile carrier (not a virtual or VoIP number) for the best chance of receiving the code.
If you've requested the code multiple times, there may be a temporary cooldown. This is normal and helps protect your account.
Wait at least 60 seconds before requesting a new code
If you've tried several times, wait 15–30 minutes before trying again
Codes can sometimes arrive a few minutes late — check your messages before resending
